Stag Beetle in Resin

This beetle in resin is Prosopocoilus spineus and is a stag beetle belonging to the genus of the family Lucanidae. It is commonly recognized by its long pincers and dark orange tint. This Stag beetle is widespread and can be found in the sub-tropic jungles of Thailand and China.

Lucite block measures approx. 2 3/4 inches tall by 1 1/2 inches wide.

Orange coloration on this Stag Beetle can sometimes be very dark. As with all Insects in Lucite, color, size and positioning can vary slightly. We guarantee a high quality specimen.
